Answers: Before you poison the planet any further (no offense) have you looked for or located the Drain Out Plug contained by your exit/sewage line plumbing? That would be the place to fire up, and snake in both directions.
Again and near all due respect the consumer should be aware that public relations and disclaimers are meant to SELL product. OXY CLEAN is a great example of a original scam. If I want to sell a product I'll HYPE it to the Max.
A sulat TUB drain does not include a "P" trap fast under the tub, but might at some other paragraph of the 2 inch pipe that leads to the usual 4 inch that exits the house. The Clean out plug might be contained by the 2 inch somewhere,,,and/or the 4 inch also. It's most often a threaded MALE boater that can be accessed beside even a crescent wrench, allowing access to the line surrounded by both directions.
You should also be checking Vent plumbing where it exists, for blockage.

The clog may be further down than the snake can budge. You might have to give the name a plumber on this one. Is there hose standing in the tub? If so, enjoy you tried that Liquid Plumr that is gooey? If there's not water contained by the tub, try pouring a pot of hot coffee down the drain. Sometimes it will loosen things up.

well, i'd vote snacking is prolly the problem. especially snacking in the tub. what drain could withstand crumbs from a dozen wham-whams, and 4pints of fudge ripple during your ultimate depression-fueled eating binge?

The best entity for this is a pneumatic plunger, not one of those rubber things with the pedal but a cylinder that is pumped up to 50+ PSI, beside a rubber stopper that fits the drain, then you release the heavens in one shot. Might know how to rent one, or have to call upon a plumber. I used to borrow one from my neighbor the plumber.
One big warning! Cover adjectives the other drains in the house, I enjoy seen these backfire and transport black slime everywhere from the other drains. PS- even with a mitt plunger you need to plug the overflow drain, usually where on earth the drain plug lifting mechanism is or simply a chrome cap on the tub underneath the spout. Use a wet washcloth and own someone else hold it on tightly or you will just be pumping nouns back and forth.
Are you sure the tub is properly vent. DIYers sometimes neglect that piece of plumbing and it does make for slow drains.
ring your city maintenance shop. We can take a bottle of high powered stuff sometimes from the city. Follow directions and contained by a day you should own clean pipes. Takes prudence of hair , roots , and almost other works.
