Help on lighting methods for a bespoke wall section...?
I am redecorating my bedroom and i am making a bespoke shelfing part to store clothes in (instead of taking up dear floor space with a bulky wardrobe)
Anyway im slightly into my mood lighting, i am looking at putting LEDs in the extraordinary open space on this wall section. Now where i necessitate some guidence is i dont want to do this by wiring the lights sour the mains electric nurture... Instead i would like to use some sort of battery-operated system where i can use re-chargable battery... as these lights will only be on from time to time. It also save me hacking away at my re-plastered wall!
Does anyone hold any experience of doing this? If so what equipment will i need and first could you point me in the right direction of where on earth to buy the equipment online? I already have mathmos mood lamp but want to incorporate lights into the actual unit. Im not sure how unyielding this would be.. but how hard/easy is it to create interchanging LEDs to give the mathmos mood storm lantern effect? Thanks in mortgage
Answers: Go to http://www.maplin.co.uk there terribly good for things approaching this
You might consider puck lights they are small but they get verry hot if moved out on for any length of time. They come with a transformer that allows you to plug them surrounded by to the wall. Downside you have to do for a time wiring.
