What is the best way to level units on my stove top?

first check to see if the stove is level . if that is fine and the burners are resting on the stove top .see if they are level with a small 6 inch level you can fold up Little pieces of aluminum foil to act as shims to be placed under the edges of the burner legs .another possibility is that your pots and pans have warped from heat . this happens a lot and can't be fixed you will have to buy new cook wear as you will never be able to straiten them out . to check to see if its the cook wear you will need a good strait edge . turn the pots and pans upside down lay the strait edge on the bottom of the pan and look to see if there is light coming between the pan and the strait edge .if light is present it is the cook wear .

Those coil units are cheap and plentiful. Every Home Depot sells brand new units. If they are tweaked, that may be a solution. Just unplug and replace.

I would have to say that you have replaced the burner drip pans and they are not of the correct type. Check to see if the burner elemant legs are all in the pan grooves. If not, they will never sit level.
