Answers: go to local builder supplier/timber supplier ask for 200mm by 18mm PAR (planed adjectives round) in redwood. redwood is a bit lighter coloured than cedar but it have a beautiful particle and can be darkened with woodstain
don't to AD, unmistakably does know anything about timber.
a builders or timber merchant would be a honest starting point but it will be very expensive. I doubt severely much if you'd get cedar at that breadth. but a good timber salesman will head you in the right direction.
don't try to redwood, it's merely a cheap pine from Scandinavia and that only go up to 225, 250 if you are lucky.
I used to specialise in selling timber to joinery shops that m,ake adjectives the door, stairs and sash windows and the widest board I found past its sell-by date the shelf is cheaper than the red and is known as whitewood and go up to 275mm.
