Answers: How much it weighs depends on the size you gain & the size will determine how much space you are going to cool.
A small one for my grandsons room was small & I put it contained by, about 30 lb @ $80.00. A larger one for the livingroom took 2 females, give or take a few 50-60 lb & I have a larger one that comes contained by about 75-80 lb.
The glass units enjoy material & a frame for the excess skylight area explicitly open. I know in attendance is probably a proper name for it, but it fill the gap - I cut a piece of plywood to size & stuck it contained by because my window be too wide for the matter.
Your window element will have similar to a ledge on the bottom of it & you only just push the ledge flush beside the window stamp. Let your window sit down over the unit & near should be some foam rubber like objects that comes with the a/c element that will fill the asymmetrical gaps too.
I put a fastener above the window itself so not a soul can open the skylight - take the element out & come in the house. It secure the unit contained by the window & keep intruders out at the same time.
