Has anyone have any nouns next to sculpture their tub tub?
Answers: I enjoy not done a porcelain finished cast iron tub. However, I hold refinished several fiberglass tub & shower surrounds with terribly good results (apt. complex) There are products you can use to refinish your tub that are sold at Home Depot and Lowe's. The grill is, what kind of issue iron tub do you have? Is it the rough and ready 5 foot tub with tile surround or an antique claw foot tub?
If it is the antique, it would be best to hire a professional refinisher to do the assignment. And if you want the best results, it's better to have a refinisher do a regular tub as capably.

I've never done it personally, but I wouldn't recommend fine art a bathtub beside something like latex or oil-based paint. The simple reality is it just won't work and will start to flake off contained by the water and soap no concern how you finish it or clear coat it. I have see a lot of nation hire someone to re-finish a tub, but I did find the website listed below that tell you how to do it yourself by using a kit. I don't know anything roughly it, but I do know re-finishing is a better alternative to "painting!" Hope that help!

Touching up the finish on a bath tub is not a devout idea as it never looks rather right. As mentioned above it is best to get a specialist finisher to do the work. However, such work is expensive and you would do okay to weigh the cost of such restoration against a refit/replacement. Yes, there are kit available for DIY but you could simply be putting off the inevitable - replacement.
