Repairing a leaky faucet?
Answers:
I f I were you, I would take as much of the faucet as I reasonable could to my local "box hardware store," Lowes, Builders Square, or even the local mom and pop hardware store for sure, and ask that question again. The helpful person there will not only tell you what to do to solve your problem, but will have the necessary parts on hand to complete the job without you having to spend several trips back and forth trying to obtain the necessary correct parts by trial and error.

there should be a gasket, or rubber fitting on the end of the stem. Usually if you replace this, then your leak will stop. They get wore down, and you can't turn the faucet off all the way... Hope this helps some
First turn off your water, then get a wrench and take the stem off, there should be some type of oring gaskets replace them and put it back together.
first, make sure the water is off, then remove the stem, their is a washer on the stem that needs to be replaced or sometimes u have to replace the stem.
