If you are comfortable working with basic hand tools and have an understanding of electrical you can do this yourself. It's not difficult, just invloves putting the timer in line before the pump. I have to mention, however, I'm not a big fan of timers. Usually people set them to run very little in a 24 hr period and what they save in electricity costs, is usually spent on chemicals to offset the the minimized filtration time. Not to mention, if a pool heater is involved, making sure that the fireman's switch operates correctly, turning off the heater 20 minutes, before the pump shuts down. If that doesn't happen, you've got a big repair bill, if you still have a cabana left. My opinion, after seeing two fires from this, don't put it on a timer. if you have a heater.

I am not going to be able to recomend any one for you because I am not in your state. If you had the pool put in your self go back and ask the company who they would reccomend to put one in for you. Also call your electric company because they may be able to give you a recomendation.Any time there is water and electricity they do not mix and you are the one in the middle and it could become a fatal accident. Please be careful and those around you that are going to be doing the work.
