Kidding, really, tell the truth! It's not worth losing your job over something like that - it's better to be upfront and honest. Unless of course you're on trial in a state which has the death penalty, in which case...is it really a lie?
if he's a pathological liar, he won't have much trouble otherwise he might wanna take a hit to slow down his sytem. Unless he can completely control his breathing and heartrate

Yeah sure first lie it is you not a Friend, the best way to pass the lie detector test is tell the TRUTH, lies may seem ok at first but then you have to add lies which digs you a massive hole which you have to get out of when you are found out.

"Lie detector" is a wild misnomer. All it does is measure sweat, heart rate, and electromagnetic signals to look for questions which would cause them to spike. If you get yourself freaked out enough that even true statements cause spikes, the results would probably be thrown out.
You have to convince yourself that it is not a lie. Some drugs help some, but they will test you for drugs.
LOL as ev1 else said, The TRUTH Always works! I also say slow down ur nerves take a Xanax or 2..LOL I have never had to take a lie detector test, but I heard it can tell if you are nervous or not.Best of Luck to ya.
right before you take the test you have to think of something you have done in the past that will stimulate your heart rate and breathing patterns. the tester will begin by asking you some test questions and he will ask you to purposely lie to some and tell the truth with others so he/she can tell when your lying by how your body reacts. so when the actual test is happening remember to think of that thing i told you to think about when the questions are asked not what they want you to answer. so this way all of his/her data will be all over the board and a definite answer cannot be determined. or you can just think of really nice things when you are being asked the bad things they are investigating about, if you are more confident. works every time. good luck
