Can you put grease over latex paint?

Answers:    Well....many opinion. I'll add mine. I a short time ago researched this EXTENSIVELY due to pre-existing problems on a job. I have always be told oil over latex be no problem, latex over oil be bad. However, the customer have painted oil over latex and it be peeling similar to a sunburn. I asked several different painting contractors that I sub out to, they adjectives had different answers. I go online to the sites of most major paint manufacturer, etc. The consensus seems to be scuff sand, prime near oil/water base, later paint. It worked great for me.

GOOD LUCK :)
Nope - not straight anyway. You would have to use a primer first.
