Answers:    Electric company is right. You may have trouble getting the right info by calling, if you know where on earth their yard is, try going in attendance to talk to the supervisor. Our local power company give them away free but you have to catch on a waiting list. The power company within the nearby metro nouns has them on appendage but charge for them. If you don't want full length, ask if they will cut, if not bring a fasten saw.
We, sometimes get wooden posts from our local vigour coopertive that sometimes want to get rid of some. We get them for dirt cheap, and they were within good shape. Good luck!
