Answers: I reason I'd use a 2 part 5 minute epoxy. Gorilla epoxy resin is good, but be aware it expands as it dries, so in that may be some clean up issues. Also do a pattern search for a site call 'this to that'. It contains info on how to glue anything to anything. You enter the materials to be glue, and up pops their recommended adhesive. It's not a manufacturer site and so will give you diverse choices. Good Luck!
First clean both surfaces, double stick cartridge is good temporarily. For a more permanant adhesion I would use gorilla cement. You only necessitate a small amount in the center.
if you don't thoroughness that it might fall rotten in a year supper paste will work fine.

Though I've never used Gorilla bonding agent,,,perhaps out of unease of it being made from Old Gorillas LOLOL. I hear it touted adjectives over. Certainly there are others; and it's also a situation of personal opinion. Cove underside adhesive would work/ Liquid nail also. 5 minute epoxy; contact cement; Double backed sticky stuff foam tape; sticky back velcro pieces; etc.

Good Lord! You don't obligation Gorilla Glue here or any type of epoxy. This is a light consignment, non load position application. Use regular wood glue or even Elmers. Clamp it overnight (or use a rubber tie if you don't have a clamp) and it will be correct.
