What is the procedure for mopping a floor?
Answers:
Last night we had to give our 11 year daughter an intesive crash course on mopping a floor - her solution was to wet the mop a bit, drag it around the middle of the room and declare the job complete!
1. Brush up any dirt
2. Fill mop bucket with very hot water and add cleaning agent.
3. Soak mop head in bucket.
4. Wring out mop head.
5. Start in furthest corner fromt he door you intend to exit.
6. When mopping you will have to work at it to ensure you clean properly.
7. After a few strokes replace mop in bucket, swish around to clean mop head, wring and repeat.
8. Allow to dry before walking on.
9. Shout at children and dog when floor is very messy again 5 minutes later.
Hope this helps.

take the wet mop, and swipe it acreoss the floor from left to right or right to left, until the entire area of floor is wet walk away until it is dry.
get a big fat mop dip in in bubbley hot water and swish it about on the floor, untill it looks all clean and sparkley.
get your local paper - look in jobs wanted and search for a cleaner or au-pair who is looking for extra work, thats how to get the floor clean :-)
You need a bucket or a sink of warm water with some Pine-sol or something like that added. Don't use dish liquid or anything really soapy because it leaves a bigger mess than what you are cleaning. You can use a1/2 cup of bleach instead of the pine-sol. Get your mop good and wet then squeeze out the excess water. Start at the farthest point, moving your mop side to side and front to back go over the same area twice. Do about a 4ft. square at a time. then rinse your mop and do it again in your next imaginary square. Be sure to rinse your mop often in the warm water that you have prepared with which ever cleaner that you chose. The last place you mop is the door way you plan on leaving through when your finished so that the floor can dry. Don't walk on the floor till it is good and dry(about an hour). When the floor is dry give your mop a final rinse and empty and rinse the bucket or sink that you used for mop water. I usually hang my mop outside to dry, but you can lay it across some steps or something if you can't hang it.
First of all you have sweep the floor. Then you get the bucket put hot water and put in fabuloso, that cleans very well. after you finish moping one room of the house you have to dump the water and put new water because if u dint you'll just be spreading the dirt u just moped.Good Luck
