how can i prove to my mom that i am ready for a boyfriend?
Answers:
By acting mature with anything and everything she says to do. Once maturity is established then come privileges!
Other answers:
Why do you need your mom to think you are ready? If you need her permission, you are still too young, and probably NOT ready.

nah u shuld jus get 1 & b responsible i guess.
Mom of 4 has it right- just be responsible and mature and show her you can handle things well = )
I do not know how old you are (12?) but if you ask an adult they will probably say you are too young.
An adult will say this because they know many things that you have not yet experienced because of your age.
If you are 12 years old, then in my opinion you are far too young to be thinking about boyfriends.
study well and dont get pregant.
If your twelve, chances are your mom has already gone into "Oh-dear-my-little-girl-is-goi... And will do anything to keep you her little girl. She can't help it.
Do that by BEING her little girl. Spend time with her, love her. She's only human. The best thing...ask her for advice. For anything. Little things. And make it obvious. "Mom, I need your advice" are some of the most beautiful words for a parent to hear - it lets them believe that you aren't growing up to fast, and you still need them (even if you don't need them, humor her)
Ask about how to deal with a teacher, a friend. Little problems. Also, it will make her think that you'll ask for advice about your boyfriend.
And then, don't ask her "Can I get a boyfriend now?"
Figure out who you want first. Make him a "friend." Bring him home. Let your mother approve. And then be distressed about it because you really like this guy and you would like to date him. If she approves of the guy, then somehow her daughter being with THIS guy (who she trusts) won't seem so bad.
What does seem bad is the unknown "boyfriend" person. Give him a face, and she'll relent.
Keep me posted...let me know if this helps.
12 years old is too young. You'll have lots of time in the world to worry about that. You should be worry about school and having fun with your friends.
