How do you clean/strip cedar posts?

We're trying to clean the bark off of our own cut cedar to make fencing that can be finished with a sealer

Answers:
If the posts are fresh cut, you will have to shave them with a draw knife. You might be able to do parts of them with a power washer, but it will have to be at least 4500 psi. If you stack them and let them air dry, a lot of the bark will come loose after several months, then a power washer will be much more effective.

A draw knife may work, but it would take a while.
