How can I remove lichen from a redstone Tombstone?

The tombstone is about 100 years old and made of native redstone.

Answers:
I would mix some chlorox with detergent... 1/2 cup of each and blend it together....

Take a brush with soft bristles first and take the mixture and brush it on and scrub it lightly...(I dont know how hard that tombstone is, so I would use a soft touch).

Rinse liberally with lots of clear water.

Then take some Kiltz and put on the thing so that the moss and other things shouldnt come back...

I wish you well..

Jesse

I'd suggest clorox bleach and a stiff brush. If that doesn't work you can try brushing it with diluted muratic acid then rinsing with lots of water. Test it on a small place first to see what happens. Muratic acid will eat almost everything make of stone so be careful.
