Building an INDOOR/outdoor tennis court on my personal property..how?
I'm not looking to spend more than 50K on this project, 25K for the court, lighting, and fence (basically 25K if I didn't want it to be indoor) consequently another 25 K (or less hopefully) to enjoy the ability to net it indoor in the winter months.
I enjoy about 2 acres of territory and I plan on putting this out in my "backyard" but I want it to look resembling a normal outdoor court beside waist-high fencing in the summer and unquestionably to be able to playable contained by the winter.
Again, putting a "bubble" up is not an option.
Any insight you can provide me is appreciated.
THANKS!
Answers: I think that's possible but might be more pricy than you want to shift.
I would build foundations of brick, for looks, that were conceivably 2 feet soaring. You can buy these plexi glass shells that relations make sun rooms out of, but that's not designed to be taken apart and put fund together again. And, on that scale, it would be big bucks.
You do the retaining wall/foundation of bricks for looks and contained by the wintertime cover that over with firring strips just about six feet lofty and then product truses out of the same type of wood. You're not going to be capable of have this much more than 8 foot high and consequently support a truse roof. Over that, put plastic sheeting. IN the spring, throw out the plastic and take down the truses.
But, next to tennis, you're going to need a lofty ceiling. That would be difficult with this method.
