Well there are so many of them nuts on here, just grab the nearest one and hope for the best.
Clockwise.
righty-tighty/lefty-loosey....... if the nut is struggling hold them down...hehe
Turn it to the right (cloclwise). Remember the old adage: Lefty loosey, Righty tighty.
if you are having trouble it could be several things: thread types do not match, bolt and nut diameter do not match, damage to thread.
If it is a reverse thread, like a lot of plumbing fixtures, and gas fittings, you would tighten it, by turning it counter-clockwise..Hope this helps..
First off you need to ask yourself if this person is really a nut. If so, is said person worth getting in trouble for by screwing him/her onto a bolt. Oh. Where do you get your bolts from anyway. I too have a crossbow but the bolts are hard to find.
