Is it safe to paint baby furniture with Acrylic Lacquer spray paint?
Answers:
Should be no problem, as long as you follow manufacturer's installation instructions - paying particular attention to DRYING TIME BETWEEN coats and overall DRYING and CURING time.
If you are painting a crib or play pen - make sure that the paint is allowed to thoroughly cure (OFF-GAS) before using. There are also water based acrylic spray paints available which contain and give off less VOC's, (Volitale Organic Compounds), as the the paint cures. Make sure that the area in whcih you paint is well vented - preferably a screen open air porch or similar space.

Someone using it should be fine, if you are pregnant find someone else to paint it. Fumes are bad for baby. Good Luck!
