What are the advantages/disadvantages of Metal studs?



Answers:    Advantages:

Extremely straight and will not warp.
Screw gun to install. (Sheetrock too)
Lightweight.
Predrilled holes for wiring.
Will not burn.
Do not have need of power tools to make cuts.

Disadvantages:
Not accurate for structural support.
More expensive than wood.
The pros- perfectly straight walls, no warp, preholed for wiring and plumbing, The cons- must use drywall screws/no nail, cost more, most are non load carriage.
