Measuring for a alien door?

Measuring for a new interior door

I call for to replace a few interior doors (including frame and moldings) in my house. What is the right road to measure for a different door??
I know doors come in standard sizes such as:
28x80, 30x80, etc. However, when i benchmark my exisitng doors their width comes out to 31 3/4 inches and elevation 79 1/2. Would standard sized 32 x 80 fit?? Also, i have to standard width of the wall surrounded by order to take new door frames. When measure, width vary. At the the top of the wall its 4 1/2 inches wide, middle 4 3/4 and bottom 4 1/8. What size should i pick (lowest measure, average of three, etc)?

Thank you.

Answers:    yes, that's a standard 31 3/4" allows 1/8" so door doesnt hit jambs. same with stage, they also may have be cut to allow for carpet and wad.
generally the frame(jambs) should be 4 9/16" if your walls meas. diff. its of late dry wall or plaster thats wavy you'll be fine once you put foreign or existing casing support on
Unless you own your door frames custom built you will have no selection but to take the 4 9/16". The size oscillation you have is probably not satisfactory to stop you from fitting the trim, which will flex enough to follow the string of the wall. If this does not work I think the nonspecific rule is you bash down the high spots on the drywall and caulk the low ones.
