I want to know which would be cheaper to construct: a steel building tools that you writ pre cut and put?

together yourself, or buying a load of lumber and building it yourself. Know-how is not an issue, I strictly have need of to know if the square footage is the same, which plan is cheaper. For example, I found I can buy one of the aforementioned kit that cover roughly 800 square feet for going on for $5,000. I am leaning toward the steel building tools and my husband is leaning towards constructing it out of wood because he insists here surrounded by GA it will be the cheaper option.

Answers:    Metal buildings are far cheaper per square foot than wood. This is why several shops are made from metal buildings. If the material cost comes into play this is absolutely the case. It is not sturdy to prove do the math. Construction time is also so much faster. If material cost is no baulk then it is up to the individual.
As a contractor who still does my equal share of carpentry, and who have been pricing myself a shop, I can effortlessly answer your question -- metal. I can achieve a metal building erected (material & labor) for the same price that I would wage for the wood shop, with siding, roofing, etc. I needed to build it myself but cannot justify the discernible choice. By the way, I price out job every week.
