Square plastering block work?

what is the square plastering blockwork you sometimes find running up the side of houses called? thankfulness.

Answers:    I think you probably stingy 'line struck' smooth render. It's done by firstly appling a scratch coat after a final coat of smooth render which is marked up (by pinging a string splash at the required centres across the showery render to get the bed and with the boundary of a bit of wood for the perps) to make it look approaching large stone blocks that hold been laid contained by a stretcher bond.
If done well it can be immensely effective, and I regard looks better than just smooth render.
Quoin stones/bricks.

When you render, you can draw where on earth the blocks would be or add more mortar to that nouns to raise the stone effect.

Normally Quoin bricks/stones tend to stick out slightly beyond the surface plane of the wall.
ha,,we call for them dooflops and a real misery in *** to do but aint get a clue as to their correct name
