How can I get rid of Bermuda grass without fouling the underlying soil? I'm in the Middle Atlantic area.?
Answers:
You can spray it with RoundUp. RoundUp will biodegrade and leave the soil perfectly fine. Then you can till it in if you wish. If the Bermuda isn't dead and you till, the live portions will germinate and come back.

Just sprinkle lightly the grass with gasoline mixed with water. It will make the cells dead and brown like in autum and will automatically become feed for the soil without seeds. Then u can plant anything new. It wont hurt the soil.
