Grass is not individual about the type of fertilizer you apply. As long as it have nitrogen in it, the grass will turn green and be well. I have be buying some dry fertilizer at Walmart for $6.50 per bag that works especially well. You hold your choice of 6-6-6, 10-10-10, or 16-4-8 for the same money.
