Can plants grow economically surrounded by a veranda on the north side???

i have veranda on the North side of my flat..I plan to have lots of plants over nearby... can they grow healthy over here...I dont have any other porch in the flat and i love plants.please answer.

Answers:    depends on the plant...as you would expect.

Planting on the north side will result in brief, morning direct sun and indirect muted the rest of the day. The sun rises contained by the east, but not "EXACTLY" in the east due to the earth's axis. Alternately, planting on the south side will result within a brief period of direct afternoon to evening sunlight. As long as you don't own a large overhang and some sunlight hits directly contained by that area for a few hours out of the daytime, then most plants will do simply fine.
