what root stock is used for a passionfruit vine?

Is it the same as the variety used in herbal medicine? If not , does anyone know they name of both please?

If you are referring to the creeper that produces passion fruit - the hard dark purple skin with the seeds and the yellow pulp inside the latin name is passiflora edulis.

Unlike grape vines you don't graft the passion fruit onto a rootstock the passion fruit vine grows on it's own roots.
