I have queen palms and birds of paradise, How much water should they have. It's typically hot in California .

I live in the central valley where it gets in the triple digits and stay there. I want to keep my plants thriving. I have give them fertilizer already. What else can I do?

Answers:
Are these well established plants? if so water them every 3 or 4 days if they are planted in the ground. If they're in pots, water them until they drain out the bottom (saturate) and water again when the first inch or 2 of the soil dries. Both of these plants do very well in Calif.
