Grass that does not provide you papercuts?
Answers: I have never hear of that happening.
The concentration of your grass may depend on the area you live.
As an example, my grandparents surrounded by Florida have profoundly thicker grass (it feels close to carpet!) than we do here surrounded by Chicago.
If you're that worried, though, get some cheap flip flops at Target or Old Navy and consent to your kids play in those.

Check at your local Lowe's and Home Depot within the garden section. They can lend a hand you. There is a soft grass you can plant. Apparently you have greatly of what we commonly call "saw grass" I don't know the proper moniker of it and it does cut like that. It is not pretty contained by a yard. Good Luck.
Zoyzia grass http://www1.zoysiafarms.com/ I own never done business with that company but I hold Zoyzia I purchased it from a local nursery. I purchased several plugs. It is super soft. I like to run my toes into it. It will go and get fluffy looking and a great color green. Thanks you have inspired me to move about fertilize tomorrow.
