Yellow stuff contained by the potting soil roll?

i've been storing this potting soil i've never open in my garage for roughly speaking two years. i opened it today and it have tiny yellow dots similar to EVERYWHERE. it seems to be part of a set of the mix or it might be fungus or something. some of ti is in clumps.
the box is called (miracle grow potting soil). i presume this soil is really common to nation so im asking... is your miracle grow potting soil supposed to have this sickly stuff in it?

Answers:    Don't verbs, it's just a slow release fertilizer that have been added to the mix as a bonus. The clumping is some of the fertilizer that have absorbed moisture and stuck together over the later 2 yrs. If you can, discard these clumps and do not use. The clumps will have too much centralized nitrogen and will burn plants or flowers if they are put into the planting. Hope this answers your cross-question.

Read the package to see if the soil contains vermiculite, is it "moisture control" soil or the soil that contains plant food? Otherwise, look up Miracle Gro's website and see if you can find this information within "FAQ" section.
