What is the blue flower that blooms in CT for nearly two months -- in bloom now?

Is it chickory? I've never been to CT, but I've seen it in Maryland, and it's in bloom now in the midwest. It grows wild by the roads, has foliage that looks kind of like a dandelion and flowers similar to daisies. It grows a foot or two in height. Rabbits love to eat it.
