What can someone tell me about an inground saltwater swimming pool?

I totally disagree with windancerhil. I've worked 15 years as a pool service man and builder. The original salt water systems, he may be referring to ( 20 years ago) indeed, were complex, and prone to breakdowns. They also were very high priced affairs that also took care of monitoring ALL of your water chemistry. The more toys, the more things break.
In the last 5 years or so, this has all changed. The units out there are more reliable, more efficient and more home owner friendly. Servicing can now be done by the homeowners themselves as most manufaturer's units have built in diagnostics.
There are two Manufactureres of salt systems I have experience with. Chloromatic and Aqua rite. Of the two I prefer the aqua rite, it has an easier to read display, seems to have the least manufacturing problems, easier to service and is more user friendly. Here they are. how did dandelions come to america? and why the heck did they bring them???
