What are the best conditions for poppies?

Answers:    Full Sun is that absolute best condition for poppies. Aside from that poppies don't require anything special. The pip starts easily and can simply be broadcast across the soil and they will germinate right where they lay. However, be aware that poppies are usually done by mid summer and are the first to die pay for so if you are going to plant poppies make sure you flood in near other annuals or perennials so you won't have a barren bed when they are gone.
