What can be done for farmers that are having problems with rabbits destroying crops?

i have a small garden. each yr i put out soap bars that ive use when it gets small also i put out my deorderant bars when itgets small. because it hah the sent of human on it .i no longer have trouble / rabbits n i have okra.moth balls r good 2 keep dogs out of flower beds n gardens.n 4 snakes.

Have you tried the right dog? Beagles are the best bloodhouds for catching rabbit.
harvest the rabbits. eat them.
Call the fish and game department. It is there job to help the farmers. we have had trouble with elk and deer here. The F&G division has done may things for us. They can in some cases repay the damage wildlife has caused, and yes rabbits are a part of the wildlife.What ever means are available to control the rabbits the F&G will have the abilty to help. Call them, you pay taxes for this service, and as a farmer myself I beleive we should do everything possible to preserve the farmland , since it seems to be a diminshing commonity these days.
