I own an 11 years antiquated date palm within my garden. Will it undergo fruits here within the tropical Philippines?

Will dates palm suffer fruits in tropical asian country approaching the Philippines? I have one specifically 11 years old, it's planted from kernel I brought from fruits when I worked in Saudi Arabia. My familial loves eating date and hopes that our dates palm tree take on fruits one day.


Answers:    I remember date palms along the road surrounded by Alabang started to bear fruit one summer. but it be a particularly dry summer that year. so I guess it is possible if the weather is dry plenty.
