Answers: No. wood is not a fertilizer. it can be used to mulch around the bushes, but wood fiber (sawdust) actually ties up Nitrogen from the soil as it breaks down, so it would be, surrounded by fact and ANTI fertilizer.
The sawdust may assistance acidify the soil- that could be beneficial for blueberries. If you soil is alkaline, it might help.

If laid down without individual aged, the wood leaches nitrogen out of the soil as it decomposes & that's not worthy for any plant.

Sawdust and wood shavings are not good fertilizers. Wood consists mostly of cellulose and have very little nutritional merit. As the wood decomposes it can rob your plants of nitrogen too, so it would if truth be told have the contrasting effect that you desire.
