i have a young purple leaf plum tree that leafs started to die what should i do?

i bought it online and i planted it right away but the leafs looked not so great then they began to die

Answers:
Give it awhile, plants/ trees go into shock when transplanted. Wait for new growth in a few weeks . In the meantime they have transplant vitamins at the nursery that may help.

Other answers:
make sure it has enough water. It does take a while for a transplanted tree to take root.

My purple plum did the same thing the first year I planted it. I sprayed it with Sevin a couple times. Then the first thing the second year I sprayed it again and it is full grown and fine now.

They do need a lot of water the first year. I shouldn't say this but I have tried ordering plants too. None of them were any good. They all died. I couldn't even get my money back. So, I don't do that any more!
