What do you spray on mulberry trees to keep them from producing fruit?

I have two in my backyard that are great for shade but my kids track in the berrys and eat them. Isn't there something that can be used short of cutting them down?

Answers:
I tried EVERYTHING! I had one along my driveway when I lived in KY, driving over the berries, staining my driveway, tracking it in on my beige carpeting, YIKES. They are beautiful, very messy trees, but in the end, I hacked mine out because I couldn't take the very berry mess anymore. Sorry.

Other answers:
I am not aware of anything that will prevent them from bearing fruit. As for eating the fruit, there is nothing wrong with that. It is a quite tasty and nutritious berry. It also makes good jelly.

Why can't you just let the kids enjoy themselves? I used to love picking fresh berries. They're delicious! In fact I still do.
And its toxic sprays like the one you're after that are destroying are ecosystem! Doesn't it seem unethical to stunt the growth of an organism that would otherwise live twice as long as you yourself would?
cold water it at night when frost it expected
Roundup. You can't prevent them from fruiting, but you can kill the tree. did you know that the berries will actually ferment on the tree? You can watch the wildlife get drunk from eating them. It also makes some killer homemade wine.
