Is "Engish Ivy" honourable to combine next to "Climbing hyrdrangea" for a nice year round evergreen vine on a wall??

why and how so?

Thanks for your answers!

Answers:    They would be better grown separately.

Before planting any self clinging plant against a wall ensure that the brickwork is in angelic repair.
English Ivy and other Ivies are very invasive and can nick over the Hydrangea This means a ton of pru
ning and pulling in close proximity the Hydrangea in the Spring and within the summer and in the fall over Not worth the work My Ivy has grown 35 foot across in 10
years

and I am other pulling it and pruning it grrrrrrr
The plants mentionedwould be better grown seperately, they would compete and being enthusiastic climbers neither would grow to best advantage.
Further,it's not advisable to grow a climbing hydrangea directly onto a wall of the house. This plant have clinging suckers, which are invasive and can damage bricks and mortar.
