Answers:
Tom Strong invented the u.s. version for use in home drip systems back in the '70s. as micro irrigation became more accepted, especially in Israel, tom started building bigger, commercial tanks and bigger filters to serve them. last i heard of tom and his nifty injectors (i still have several home owner size in use) he was working out of Santee Calif. Trickle Soak Systems. but that was a long time ago. i suggest you contact your local univ. coop extension or county farm advisor's office for information on micro irrigation and fertilizer injectors. i wrote several articles on the subject in the early '90, but my info is dated. Everybody i know that has one loves them and wouldn't part with them. I know where you can buy them, but that wasn't the answer to your question. contact your local coop extension. they'll find the info for you.
