Well, usually they grow within cow crap, and are brown w/ white stems.
I wouldn't go out and get through a mushroom out of a pile of horse poo based on the answers on this page. Mushroom designation is a difficult thing and requests to be left up to experienced ethnic group.

im pretty sure they with the sole purpose grow on cow poo..... like contained by the dawn they grow on top and family pick them.. theyre small whiteish about 1 to 2 inches.. skinny..
Psilicibin, dear. Google it. Grow on cow compost, in the spring, within the morning, after a rain IF the cows own NOT been treated beside an antifungicide. Oh, Purple and Gold.
