Answers:    I'm a little confused. Are you conversation about a cut rose? Are buds gap or are you getting new growth from a rose plant? If it is a cut rose next you can't plant it. However, if you have a bush only plant it in the ground. Many folks get mini roses as gifts and are completely insensible that these are rose bushes intended to be planted outside so if this is what you are talking in the order of then I would do my best to hold on to it alive over winter and then plant it surrounded by the ground in full sun after adjectives danger of spring freeze is over. However, if you live contained by zone 9 or higher consequently you can go ahead and put it contained by the ground.

Planting instructions:
1) prepare the new home by digging a hole 2ftx2ft and dampen the hole. Fill the hole with marine and let it drain at most minuscule twice.
2) save the top 2/3 of soil that you merely dug up and set aside. Discard the bottom 1/3.
3) amend the soil you saved next to peat, bone meal, and garden compost.
4) contained by the bottom of the hole add a cloak of manure 2-3 inches gummy and then layer some of the amended soil on top of the mess. Do NOT set the roots directly on the manure.
5) Remove the rose from it's container and check and trim bad any dead or dilapidated roots. Also, make sure your rose is not root bound loosening the soil and unbind the roots.
6) set the rose contained by hole making sure the soil on the root ball is for a while above the level of the unknown hole. You want the rose to be on a small mound.
7) fill within the hole half route with the ammended soil and dampen. Once the water have run through then finish wadding in the hole beside the soil and water throughly.

Good Luck
