What should I feed a dwarf Meyer Lemon tree to prevent yellow leaves and produce more fruit?
Answers:
although nitrogen is important for a health plant, i would recommend magnesium sulfate or Epsom salts(same thing) and that should take care of the yellowing because with nitrogen there is a possibility to damage the plant and magnesium is what is in chlorophyll to absorb sun lite and a lack of it exposes cytoplasm and sugars which are yellow and health chlorophyll is green in this species.

Feed it more light... leaf yellowing and dropping on the lower leaves especially means it needs more light... you could use a fruit boosting fertilizer typically they have a 1-2-2 or 2-3-3 ratio anything would help but you want the last 2 numbers to be higher so you don't have too much nitrogen (not good for fruit production) hope this helped

mix dolomite lime into the top layer of soil and grow clovers and other nitrogen fixing plants around the base of the lemon tree, be sure to innoculate the clovers with rhyzobium..and mulch with kelp or seaweed...I too have a meyer lemon with the same problem and this worked very well for me...
