Why can I never grow a Mango nut?
I want to grow my own fruits but its ruined...
Countless times I have tried to plant the kernel into the ground of my garden or germinate the seed surrounded by a glass beside water for a week, no luck. The seed does not even germinate. Once it did grow 1 inch but it died when transferred to the ground.
I tried online recipes, I put potting soil, I exposed it to a sunny nouns of my southern california garden, I tried a glass on top once (mini green house), no luck
What am I doing wrong? Should I not use commercial Mangos as the start?
I am looking for an recipe that works, something you own actually TRIED and it WORKED and you own this pretty tree generating spicy and free Mangos year after year
Answers: I have have no problems growing mango seedlings. Plant it surrounded by flower pot and keep it melt and moist. They are large seed, so use a 1 gallon nursery pot or equivalent. Lay the seed on its side (flat) and cover it next to 3/4 inch of soil. The pot should be full of soil when you are finished. The seeds should be fresh from the mango, not iced or stored for a long period of time.
If you want to grow your own mangos, you would be mode ahead to buy a grafted tree. You will own good fruit years sooner.
what climax you live within it could be your answer. mango only grow
within tropical(warm) climax.
