How do you plant an Euterpe edulis?

I want to take an existing plant and move it to a new location.

Answers:
Hole should be dug slightly larger than the root ball. Euterpe Edulis or Jacara Palms require sunny to partially shaded sites. A 6.1 to 7.5 soil PH is required, so test the soil of the new site and amend it to meet these PH requirements. Set the root ball in place and tamp the soil around it firmly. Fill the hole just slightly below the top of the root ball. Water immediatley. Jacaras like moist soil. Do not let it dry out, but DO NOT overwater.
