My dad usually cuts the grass but lately he's been extraordinarily busy and I want to surprise him. Our lawn is not big...it take my dad about 15-30 minutes to cut the grass.

I bet you can go on Craigs List surrounded by your area and find someone to do it, any by Barter or straight pay. That is how I found someone to paint my deck! It would be cheaper than a landscaper. Or do you hold neighborhood kids around that you can offer $20 bucks to?
