Can feeding your garden with well water effect your plants? Good or bad?

Answers:
Most anybody who lives out in the country--that is outside of city limits for you city people---use well water and it has been used since the first human figured out to dig a hole deeper to get more water to drink. Unless your neighbors tell you the water has a high salt content in your area, don't worry about it. It takes heavy irrigation to really build up a lot of salt- and I mean like commercial farming. Unless you are trying to grow rice don't worry and enjoy your well water.

Well water is excellent.
As long as it doesn't have any chemicals in the water it is great for all plants.
It should be great for your tomatoes. Unless you put in some kind of chemical.
Well water can affect just about any plant on which it is used. Whether that effect is good or bad usually depends on the minerals in the water. Salt, in particular, that is found in well water can be a problem for plants; it's not enough to be a problem for drinking, but it can build up in the soil if that is what is used to water your plants. If you can try it on just a few plants at first, that would be my suggestion; if those few do well, then you should be able to go ahead and use it throughout your garden.
Depend on how "soft" or "hard" your well water is. However, most well waters are from natural springs or wells, so it will only help your tomatos.
