Tree ID-CO. Not native(?) spaded leaves, helicopter seed, smooth rippled yelp, pollen fronds, gold ingots contained by jump down?

This tree is not native(?) but leaves resemble Cottonwood, a native to Colorado. Have see planted around as an ornamental. Gets big, ours is 50ft soaring and round. Sheds yellow/brown pollen fronds, then helicopter seedling, then golden foliage contained by Fall. Bark resembles maple, smooth on branches but trunk has vertical cracks, open reddish/brown bark on branches to silver/gray/black on trunk. Ideas?

Sounds close to an "Acer" Ginnala or commonly called "Amur" Maple. This mixture of maple is native to NE Asia. It grows very well in zone 3 - 8. Its characteristic "3 lobed leaves" (spaded) turn a dazzling yellow/gold to a deep red contained by the fall. It have flower and pollen bracts and produces those little helicopter seeds than spin on the mode down to the ground in behind summer. The Ginnala only get around 30' tall however. Even still, this is pretty moral size. They are used by many Bonsai enthusiasts also. Their grown trunk is gray, with vertical ridges running the length. The crown is a extremely nice rounded canopy which provides ample shade within the heat of summer. Here is a correlation to check out. Hope this answers your question.
