What plants will produce a color dye?
Answers: Is nearby a specific color you are looking for?
Walnut shells will produce a brown/black dye, coffee will be more brown as will tea. Indigo plants will produce a bluish dye (as will woad). Beets will give you a weighty red. Strawberries and cherries will be more pinkish. Onion skins will give you a yellowish ginger. There are many more, but that's lately a quick and dirty register.
If you need something dyed like a shot, your best bet it to actually take some Kool-Aide (the packets where on earth you have to append your own sugar). Take a glass container, adding up 1/4 c vinegar for every quart of warm marine, add the Kool-Aide, give your fabric and set within a warm place. When the color is gone from the gooey, rinse your fabric or strand and let dry.
