Answers:    There are seriously of different types of violas and violets. They often lug different culture and produce seeds surrounded by different ways. Some have just one type of flower and produce seed above the foliage, while other furious violas have two types of flowers - the colored (and sterile) blossom and ground-level cleistogamous flowers, which paucity petals and produce seed. Pansies and bedding violas usually produce kernel in their pretty blossoms. Some are also sun lovers, like pansies and viola cucullata, and some are fanatical woods plants that need some shade.

Seeds - look up pansies as they are incredibly similar - rock gardens and borders - need sun and river - grasshoppers, earwigs and kids.

grow long and leggy if not picked but can be cut posterior for a while - can grow your own seed but don't grow true to parent colour
Violas are annuals that similar to cool weather - spring and fall. Grown from seed or you can root cuttings in a clear container of wet.

Flowers are edible.

Prefer full sun. Heavy feeders can be fertilized weekly.

Slugs and grasshoppers munch through them, but luckily don't like the cool weather that violas close to.
